My story

Willow is a young energetic girl that has had a pretty hard road. She was found very sick, with her Mom and siblings in a ditch very close to death. After many vet visits and multiple treatments it was discovered that her and her siblings all tested positive for the Calici Virus and for the Herpes Virus. This means that she should not be placed in a home with other cats, but her sister would be a great option. She does not have outward symptoms all the time, her biggest symptom is a runny eye. She has a tendancy to have an outbreak when there is a stressful event even if it is good stress. Her new family will have to understand that follow of vet care will be something they will need to provide if they can't manage the symptoms. We do also feed her a diatery supplment to help boost her immune system. Willow is very active and can be a bit alof when you first meet her. Although she does have treats that she loves and will come running for those. If you are interested in meeting Willow and her Sister, we ask that you please email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain and adoption application. Once we have an approved application on file we will then schedule a time for you to come and meet her. Her adoption fee is $175.00 that includes her being spayed, microchipped, treated for fleas, treated for worms and fully vaccianted. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgMay 11, 2025, 6:52 am
