My story

Meet Titus Titus is about 7 months old, weighs 23 pounds and is a typical happy, playful puppy! He is very sweet, friendly and as you can see in the video, enjoys exploring and playing. He was rescued with his mom Teresa and siblings Taelynn and Tessie from a hoarding situation that brought them to the Hondo shelter near the border of Mexico. We are so happy they are all safe with us. We can see Titus doing well in a home where he can get lots of attention and playtime with his family. He is curious and also enjoys being held. He has a fun personality. He enjoys playing with his toys and his siblings. He is just a fun-loving puppy who can’t wait to find a home of his own! He would be a wonderful, loyal companion to grow up in just about any family environment. Titus is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to Chelsea, Michigan on June 28th with approved application! He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and his adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol.
