My story

Introducing our Raising Cane`s Cane-ine of the month, Bermie! This stunning 3-year-old Belgian Malinois mix joined us in mid-March after being transferred to us from another local shelter. Bermie is a spirited and affectionate pup who would love to find an active family that can keep up with her playful and energetic personality. Whether it`s hiking, running, or exploring the great outdoors, Bermie is always up for an adventure! She may do well with another dog sibling, but to ensure they are a perfect match, Bermie would love to have a dog intro here at the shelter with our Training Team. Because of her breed mix, Bermie would thrive in a home with experienced or enthusiastic adopters who are eager to learn more about her unique traits. A meeting with our Training Team is required for anyone interested in adopting her to help set everyone up for success. Bermie would also prefer a cat-free home. With her sleek brown coat and soulful, captivating eyes, Bermie is impossible to resist. Come spend some time with this sweet, smart girl—you just might find your new best friend forever!
