My story

Meet Delilah!Delilah is a sweet, 2-year-old German Shepherd. She is calm, affectionate, and easy to walk. Volunteers adore her gentle nature and cannot figure out why she has not been scooped up yet!This clever girl is likely potty trained and has a soft spot for polite doggy friends. She loves running the fence line with other pups and watching cats from a distance like they are the best entertainment in the world.Delilah is also quite the comedian; her water bucket is always mysteriously empty, and now we know why: she dips her whole head in and gives it a good shake! It is probably her way of beating the summer heat, but it is definitely a show you do not want to miss.She prefers well-mannered companions and shows great promise with the right dog friends. True to her breed, she is smart, food-motivated, and eager to please, but is also unusually mild-mannered for a German Shepherd.Delilah is so ready to find her forever home. Could it be yours? All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
