Meet Charlie – Your Loyal Shadow with Scary Dog Privileges  Charlie is a 3-year-old pit mix with a heart of gold, wrapped in a muscular frame that says, “Don’t mess with me”—but really, he's a softie at heart. This handsome guy is house-trained, dog-friendly, and a total gentleman on leash. He’s got the basics down and thrives on structure and calm. Inside the home, he’s the ultimate snuggle buddy—the kind of dog who wants to curl up next to you on the couch and keep watch over your kingdom (or apartment). Charlie is very nervous meeting new people, especially men, and needs a quiet, adult-only home without a lot of visitors. His ideal person is patient, kind, and understands that trust takes time—especially for dogs with a tough past. We think Charlie would thrive with a single woman looking for a devoted companion who doubles as a “scary-looking” dog for peace of mind, but is really a sensitive, alert, and loving soul underneath.
