Lucius

My story

Meet Lucius! Lucius means "light" in Latin and this 10 year old boy still has lots of light in him! He came to us after being found as a stray by a good Samaritan. Lucius is a very shy boy who will need a quiet adult only home with a routine that allows him to settle in and acclimate at his own pace. Despite his shyness, once he is comfortable - he is a very friendly boy. Lucius is FIV+ which means that his immune system is much more vulnerable than other cats and would need to go to the veterinarian regularly. Lucius also received lifesaving surgery while he was with us, after we noticed he was having difficultly urinating. He will be on medications to help him with transitioning into the home, and adopters should monitor his urination at home closely. Lucius is one of our Extra Loved residents. Although all of our residents get plenty of love, some of them require a little extra care, attention and patience.
