My story

Big boy Chato is feeling very overwhelmed at the shelter and is rather shy. Chato needs a home with just adults, where he can gain some confidence and learn that the world is not a scary place. He is very fond of back scritches, so that could be a very good start to winning this boy`s heart!He has gone to playgroup in the mornings where he exists with the other doggy friends and has even tested out a bit of play with some of the doggie friends. Should you have a dog at home who needs a friend like Chato, our shelter staff will help introduce him to be sure everyone gets along, just like they do for all the other dogs here.Chato is vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.His ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
