My story

Meet Ruby, the 1-year-old Terrier mix with a heart as big as her ears! While currently charming her way into the hearts of our volunteers, Ruby is looking for a forever home. Ruby previously lived in a two-dog household and did well. She would also be fine as an only dog. Given her age and breed-mix, she will likely have a fair amount of energy and need daily walks/playtime for physical and mental exercise. With people, she might be a bit shy at first, but once she gets comfortable, she is all in, so bring on the snuggling and some belly rubs! Ruby also likes treats and is quite trainable; she is already good at "Sit" and offering her paw for a "shake." Could Ruby be your new best friend? She'd love to meet you and find out. She is sweet, affectionate, and loves treats and belly rubs. She looks me in the eye, sits well, offers her paw for a shake, and likes to cuddle. She is a great dog for some family, but in the meantime, I love spending time with her.
