My story

Say hello to Zebra, the best roommate you`ll ever have!Are you tired of roommates that are obscenely loud, obnoxious, and always in your business? Most roommates are just barely less trouble than they`re worth, but not this lady. Zebra is an independent queen who`ll never be too much of a bother. All she asks is that you feed her twice a day and keep her water bowl and litterbox fresh. This three year old lady has had quite a bit of roommate drama of her own, so trust that she is just as over it as you are. Rescued from a hoarding situation where she was co-existing (to the best of her ability) with over 100 other kitties, this little lady is ready for a change of pace. Zebra would likely do best in a quieter, more low-traffic home, where she can perch in front of a window without feeling bothered by loud noises or frequent movement. Zebra is not the most people social cat. She prefers to share space with humans, but she is not the kind of cat who will be constantly badgering you for pets and playtime. A self-sufficient queen, Zebra can do all that grooming and playing herself. What she really needs from her forever person is a safe space where she doesn`t feel pressured to conform to the lap cat stereotype. While Zebra wasn`t too thrilled by having 100 cat roommates, we don`t think she`d be averse to a couple of cat companions in her forever home. At our shelter currently she is co-habitating with a few friends and doesn`t seem to mind them one bit. However, we still recommend slow introductions between Zebra and any potential feline family members, in order to ensure they feel safe and comfortable adjusting to each other`s presence.
