My story

Are you looking to add two beautiful fur babies to your home? Then look no further than Slippery Elm and Cypress. They are 4-year old bonded brothers who are extremely sweet and who would love to find their forever home where they can thrive. They were adopted as kittens together but their housing situation recently changed. Slippery Elm is still trying to adjust to his new environment and is extremely cautious. He’s very sweet and loves pets but it will take someone time and patience to get to know him. Once he feels your love and trust, he will be out and about, playing like a kitten. Cypress is extremely friendly with everyone he encounters and is the ultimate lap cat. He also loves a lot of pets and attention and is great at giving lots of kitty kisses! Neither one has shown any aggression and do not nip, scratch or bite. They will throw themselves belly up for pets and it’s NOT a trap. They love playing with their toys, playing hide and seek in the tunnel, and keeping watch out the back door for birds and squirrels. They both love playing with their fuzzy balls and will chase and bat them throughout the houses. While they love interactive playtime with their human, they are also very self-sufficient and can easily entertain themselves. They are very well behaved and have been excellent house guests. They have no issues using their cat boxes and very much enjoy their food and treats. They both have the cutest little meows and love to carry on entire conversations with their human. Although still initially timid with new people, they have made quite a bit of progress and have allowed some strangers to interact with them. It just takes time and trust.
