Meet Lexi – your new favorite little weirdo 🐾💕 This 2-year-old, 25-pound Miniature Pinscher mix is a certified goofball with Oscar-worthy vocal range. Seriously. Lexi moans, groans, and grumbles when you give her side rubs. It’s like living with a pint-sized diva who just wants you to keep scratching and never stop. 🎭 She’s friendly, fun, and rode like a total pro in her foster mom’s car—no complaints, just good vibes and curiosity. Lexi is house-trained and generally unbothered by other dogs—even the foster dog who tried to crash her bone party (rude). She did let out a little growl, but it was more “excuse me, this is my snack” than “call security.” Speaking of calling security, Lexi will let you know about virtually everything happening outside the home so she’ll thrive with an adopter who can provide consistency and training to help her curb her vocal responses to outside stimulation. She’s got plenty of energy to unleash in the yard and lots of curiosity for the world. She’s still figuring out the whole “leash walking” thing, but she’s smart, eager, and ready to learn… especially if belly rubs are part of the reward system. 🐕✨ If you’re looking for a hilarious, affectionate little oddball who wants nothing more than your attention, your love, and maybe your couch—Lexi’s your girl. Adopt her and get a dog with personality, pizzazz, and a soundboard of emotions. 🎤💃 Let’s get Lexi into her forever home before she releases a full album of side-rub groans. If you are interested in finding out more about Lexi, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog The adoption fee is $500. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lexi, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
