My story

Meet Miss Lady - this sweet girl is looking for a home to call her own! She has the sweetest disposition coupled with big puppy playful energy. Lady LOVES to hang around people, run, fetch, and explore the backyard. In her time in foster, she has grown leaps and bounds with learning “down”, “sit”, and “leave it.” Lady has been very receptive to learning and is walking better on a leash each day. She is fostered in a home with 2 children (ages 7 and 4), and has been very sweet with them. She may be best suited for a home with older children due to her energy level at times and size. Lady will begin training soon to learn some proper dog manners and I believe continuing training would be great for her since she’s so smart, eager to please, and seems to have had very little socialization before coming into our care. Some other things about Lady…· Receptive to crate training· Doing great going potty outside· Not cat tested· Working on dog testing her (TBD), slow introductions might be best· Would be a great jogging partner or hiking partner· Good with kids· Not destructive· Not a big barker and can sleep quietly away from the family· Not a nipper· Did I mention sweet?There’s a perfect forever family out there for this girl!
