My story

Elphie is a sweet soul who would love a patient and loving human who can understand she’s had a tough life. She will seek out a safe space as she starts to slowly socialize and she has the potential to be a gentle and quiet companion who will melt your heart, but she appreciates time. Elphie’s adorable calico face will make you smile with her multiple colors and markings. If you love seeing a kitty thrive after having patience to let them adjust, she is your gal! It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Elphie can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine!
