My story

Hey guys, I’m Ronald, but you can call me “Ron” or “Ronny” I’m a laid-back, big, cool guy looking for a home where I can chill. I don’t need a lot, just a variety of treats (I’m highly food motivated), time with my human (bonus points if it’s a car ride for pup cups), and lots of toys to deconstruct - I find Kongs to be the best! I can be a bit of a scaredy cat and ask for a slow introduction to other four-legged friends. Once I’ve had some time to get to know the other pets in the house, I do just fine. My foster mom has a cat and another dog, both of which I’m lucky to call my best friends now! My prey drive is 0/0. It may take me a minute to adjust to my crate, but otherwise, I’m a big fan and can take some nice naps there! My foster mom calls me her shadow because I really love being close to her. I’d do great in a family, with or without other dogs, and would love a backyard to lounge around in. I enjoy going on a leisurely stroll, but I would ideally end up somewhere that doesn’t require lots of stairs, because let’s be honest, I’m not really into the whole up and down activity. I haven’t met many kids in my lifetime, but I'm pretty sure that I’ll get along with the big kids who can practice some patience with me. What I’m looking for is someone to help me build my confidence and show me what being a dog is all about. I’m a big cuddle bug looking for my new best friend. Could that someone be you? Love, Ronald
