My story

Hi my name is Chandler. I guess the official name is HADR Chandler, since I’m the newest rescue at HADR. This might be the first time I’ve had a name and it feels great! The streets were not very nice to me. And most humans turned away when they saw me. You know they say that Dobermans have a sixth sense. We can read people, and we know who is good and who has issues. One day I was wondering about looking for food and shelter. And I came across this one house that just seemed so peaceful, so safe. I thought this would be a nice place to stay for a while. Nice fenced yard and I could see the other dogs playing. Then this lady came to the gate and let me in. My spidery senses must have been really strong that day. She tells me she is a foster to dogs who don’t have any home. And she can help me find a home. A real forever home! Now I’m still trying to understand all of that. But I sense it’s something really special. I will keep you posted on how it goes. So far it’s been pretty amazing! The HADR humans say I need to gain some weight, get stronger. But so far I’m doing just fine.Apply to Adopt or Foster at www.hadr.org.
