My story

Star is ready to ride shotgun straight into your heart! This sweet, wiggly girl is a certified passenger princess who loves nothing more than cruising with the windows down and the wind in her ears. She knows sit, down, and paw, and is always eager to meet new people with a happy tail and instant affection. Star is a classic Velcro dog—she’ll be your shadow, your sidekick, your built-in best friend. In dog playgroups, she prefers a low-drama lifestyle, happily coexisting while doing her own thing and checking in with her human fans. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts road trip buddy and cuddle bug, Star is ready to shine.To meet our available animals, visit our Northside shelter locations any day between 1–6 pm.
