Meet Schroeder – Your Long-Bodied, Low-Ridin’ Lovebug! Schroeder is a 1-year-old, 37 lb. beagle/corgi mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears and a smile that'll melt you right into a puddle. With his low-rider build, soft coat, gentle brown eyes, and precious grin, this sweet boy is as charming as he is cuddly. Schroeder hasn’t had the easiest start to life. Originally adopted for free from a shelter in North Carolina alongside his sister, he found himself alone just six months later, wandering the streets as a stray. Sadly, his former adopter never came for him—and the whereabouts of his sister remain unknown. But Schroeder’s story doesn’t end there. He’s now safe and thriving in a loving foster home, finally getting the care and affection he’s always deserved. This guy is a bundle of joy and tail wags! He loves giving kisses, hugs, and gets a serious case of the zoomies when he's excited. He’s food-motivated (and will happily prove it), has mastered waiting patiently for mealtime, and walks right into his crate like a pro. He’ll sleep soundly through the night and has also done great with housetraining. Schroeder loves other dogs and is always up for some playful tumbles or tug-of-war. He’s also a top-tier cuddler and enjoys his walks, with just the right amount of energy—medium level, not too wild, not too sleepy. He does well with kids, but older kiddos would be best due to his enthusiastic jumping. Now all Schroeder needs is his happily furever after. Could that be with you? His adoption fee is $400 and he is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and will be neutered on 4/24.
