My story

Petunia (foster mom calls her Maggie) 1-2 Years Old, Female Pit Mix Maggie is a sweet, energetic, and lovable pit mix who has quickly become a joy to be around. She knows several commands, is eager to please, and learns quickly. With her playful and funny personality, Maggie loves belly rubs and is always ready for some fun. Once she gets her energy out, she becomes calm, affectionate, and will happily curl up in your lap for a nap—currently, she’s dreaming away! Maggie is feeling much better now (no more UTI!), and she’s back to enjoying her walks. She trots along with confidence, though she’s still very strong—especially when she spots a squirrel or deer! She’s a terrier at heart, and her strong instincts mean I have to hold onto her leash with both hands when she’s ready to give chase. When she gets the zoomies, she’s all about hopping, leaping, and jumping with excitement. Maggie loves people and greets them with an enthusiasm that’s truly heartwarming.
