My story

Meet Mabel!This beautiful 10-month-old mixed breed dog is looking for a patient and loving forever home. She is full of youthful energy and has a sweet and eager-to-please personality. Mabel is still learning the ropes when it comes to things like leash manners, jumpy/mouth behavior, and chewing on inappropriate items. She would thrive in a home committed to positive reinforcement training and providing consistent guidance. Think of her as a bright sponge just waiting to soak up all your wisdom! In return for your dedication, you`ll be rewarded with a loyal companion who loves fetch, tennis balls, and sticks! She has so much potential and just needs someone willing to invest the time and effort to help her become the best dog she can be.It`s important to know that Mabel can sometimes be protective of certain resources, like toys, beds, and personal space with other dogs. This behavior, known as resource guarding, means she may react defensively if another dog tries to take these items. In the right single-dog home with a loving owner, Mabel will thrive and shower you with unwavering devotion. She has lived with cats but does roughhouse and play with/chase them for fun. She would need to live with the right cat as she enjoys playing and nibbling/grooming cats. Mabel has not lived with kids and often does not recognize her size.
