My story

If you're looking for a puppy who's equal parts cuddlebug and playmate, Sharpie just might be your perfect match! This sweet and loving pup is currently living in a foster home with two resident dogs — a Lab mix and a Weimaraner mix — and she adores them. She spends her days happily chasing them around the backyard and her nights cuddling up close. Whether she's tugging on toys or flopping into a pile of fur and love, Sharpie is all about connection — canine and human alike! She’s also thriving in a home with two boys (ages 8 and 11), who have quickly become her favorite wrestling partners and snuggle buddies. After a good romp, Sharpie is more than happy to curl up in a lap or nestle at your feet — she’s been known to cozy up right between her foster mom's feet while she's doing dishes! Sharpie is crate-trained and loves her crate — it's her safe, cozy space where she naps quietly and sleeps through the night. She’s still working on her house training but learning fast, and she responds well to gentle corrections. She’s also just beginning leash training and can be a little timid on walks at first, but she warms up quickly and gains confidence with each outing.
