My story

Melanie is a 5-year-old, 72-pound sweetheart with a heart as big as her paws. Though she may be a little shy at first, it doesn’t take long for her affectionate nature to shine through, especially if there are head scritches and cuddles involved. She thrives on human connection and loves nothing more than snuggling up close, ideally with at least one paw resting on her favorite person. Melanie adores leisurely walks where she can sniff to her heart’s content. She climbs right in to cars because she knows car rides lead to exciting adventures. Around town, Melanie has been chill but interested in other dogs - to see how she does with yours, bring them by for a meet and greet! This beautiful girl is so ready to find her forever home where she can relax, explore, and, of course, cuddle!Melanie’s adoption fee was paid for by a special family.
