My story

Name: Oreo and Gizmo Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 5 and 4 years old Gender: Female Cats: Yes Dogs: Yes Children: Yes Litter Box Trained: Yes Declawed: No Adoption Fee Together: $300 Hi, meet Oreo and Gizmo. They're a sweet and loving pair who would love to stay together in their forever home. They both enjoy cuddling up for cozy naps and sharing affectionate moments, but they also have plenty of energy for playtime! Oreo, with her beautiful black asks white coat, loves to chase after toys and is always up for a good game. Gizmo, our little ball of energy, is just as playful and loves showing off his acrobatic skills. They love being together and make a great team, whether they are snuggling up or having fun with their favorite toys. They are both very sweet,gentle and affectionate, and are looking for a loving family who can appreciate their bond and in all the love and joy they have to offer. We've been at the ARP since 4/10/25 and are currently located at the ARP. The Animal Rescue Project is committed to the best possible veterinary care for the pets it rescues and it is looking for adopters who will be similarly committed. Adoptions are NOT first come, first served! We seek to choose the best fit for the approved adopter and pet. Please understand that these animals are still new to us and their needs and requirements can change at any time as we learn more about them. We will try our best to get them updated online as soon as possible. All cats and kittens are given a general check-up when they enter our program. They receive medical to remove any intestinal parasites (worms), fleas, and mites they may have. All cats and kittens are feline leukemia tested, and cats at least a year old are also tested for feline immuno virus. Each cat or kitten receives the FVRCP vaccine; if a kittens stay with us is long enough, two or three boosters will be given after the initial vaccination. Most cats and older kittens are spayed or neutered before adoption. In the case of kittens not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization. The Animal Rescue Project requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.
