Ophelia

My story

Ophelia is a 9-year-old girl that was surrendered to the shelter when her owner was moving and could not take her with them. When she arrived, it was evident that Ophelia needed a little help, she is a bigger girl and could not reach her hind end to keep herself groomed. She unfortunately had severe matting on her back and needed to be shaved, the matting was so tight that it had to be painful. Her previous owner stated that Ophelia did not use a litterbox very well, but Ophelia has not had any issues here at the shelter (it could have been she was not feeling very well due to the matting or maybe she just didn`t have the right kind of box), she is even free roaming in the employee restroom here at the shelter. She does need a larger, covered pan that she can comfortably use due to her size. Ophelia does like to play in her water dish! Ophelia has had senior bloodwork done and everything has come back normal. She is a sweet girl that would love to have a second chance at a loving home! She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, FIV/Felv tested, and microchipped.
