My story

Hi, it’s Lab Momma Ember! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143    For those who don’t know, here’s my story:   It’s been a ruff journey and clearly I’ve been let down, not being spayed, pregnant as a result, left outside in full term pregnancy to fend for myself and newborns …in the cold with no shelter, food or water.  With not a lot of options, I chose a spot behind a shed to give birth to help hide and “somewhat” shield my babies from the elements.  I was doing the best I could, but things were looking grim with a winter storm and freezing cold temps on the horizon.     Thankfully, we were discovered and taken to a shelter, where we were finally in a nice, warm place.  Although the staff loved having us there and showed great kindness, a shelter is no place for newborns.  Molly’s heard the shelter plea for rescue help and we were off once again on a new journey to Molly’s.   Me and my 7 babies were warm and safe in  a comfy, cozy bed with food & water 24/7.     Fast forward to now my babies are 3 months old, they’ve all been adopted and are in their new forever homes.    Now it’s my turn for a home of my own.  I’m house trained, crate trained, great in the car, know basic commands and great with other dogs of all sizes.  Not to mention, I’m very calm, gentle and well behaved with great manners.   If your looking for the best behaved canine companion  then I’m your girl.   Ember   To submit an adoption application, visit mollysplacerescue.org. Fill the form out completely, print, scan and email back to mollysplace@verizon.net. You must obtain pre-approval prior to visiting the dog or cat. Adoptions fees include the following:    spay/neuter surgery,  microchip and registration,  age appropriate vaccinations,  initial dewormings,  Activyl for fleas,  tested for FeLV and FIV (cats only),  bubble bath prior to going home (dogs only) WE do not "HOLD" animals without an approved application and a non-refundable/non-transferable paid adoption fee.  Adoptions are on a first come, first serve basis.  We can not send extra pictures.  WE do not ship, you must pick up the pet.  Kitties must be transported in a secure cat carrier.   Pooches require a "martingale" collar and a non-retractable leash.
