My story

Meet sweet Marshmallow! He was picked up from a homeless camp on 4/5. When he first arrived at the shelter he was very scared, but with love and reassurance from the staff and volunteers, he is doing so much better! Marshmallow doesn't seem to have a lot of experience walking on a leash, but with a little consistency and patience, he'll figure it out. When he is being walked outside he gets excited to see other dogs and wants to play! The volunteers did discover that he will sit nicely for treats. If you have room in your heart and home for Marshmallow, please come meet him today! Marshmallow is an adult dog and weighs 56 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been neutered, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be microchipped upon adoption. Marshmallow is waiting patiently in run 876; his ID # is 9093. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
