My story

Meet Royal! Royal is a gentle soul with a heart of gold and a serious love for butt scratches--his favorite hobby might just be scooting his rear end across any available piece of furniture for a good rub. Don not let his chill demeanor fool you though--this big, lazy cuddlebug lights up when he&#39s around other pups, especially younger ones. He loves to wrestle and tumble around with his puppy friends before flopping over for a well-earned nap. Royal is a small boy only weighing around 40 lbs. He&#39s the perfect size for any family! Royal gets along beautifully with both cats and dogs, making him a great fit for a multi-pet home. Despite his calm, friendly nature, Royal&#39s past was not easy--he came from a heartbreaking situation where he was badly hurt by his previous owners and had to undergo surgery after being stabbed. Thankfully, he&#39s made a full recovery, and he&#39s cleared for adoption and ready for a fresh start with a family who will show him the love and safety he&#39s always deserved.
