My story

In shadows sleek and midnight black, With amber eyes that never lack A quiet glow, a gentle gleam— She tiptoes softly, chasing dreams. They found her where the streets run wild, A quiet, cautious, roaming child. Now safe, she curls in corners small, Still startled by the footstep's call. Her name is Star, a fitting grace, For in her gaze, you’ll find a place Where softness hides and hope begins— A galaxy wrapped up in skin. She’s timid, yes, but brave at heart— Each purr a little work of art. With gentle hands and patient care, She’ll bloom like stars born from the air. And just like shooting stars above, She’s rare, and warm, and full of love. So make a wish, and don't delay— Adopt sweet Star and light her way. Star arrived at ARF at the end of March after being brought to us by a local grassroots rescue organization in the hope that we can find her a home away from a life on the streets. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
