My story

Meet Ink! Ink is a tender-hearted cat with a shy spirit and a deep need for patience and understanding. At 3 and a half years old, he's still learning to feel safe in a world that can sometimes feel too big, too loud, and a little overwhelming. Ink is especially nervous when it comes to human touch. He isn’t aggressive—just unsure. Physical affection is something he’s still working up the courage to accept, and he needs a home where there’s no rush, no pressure, and plenty of compassion. He may spend his first days (or weeks) tucked away in a quiet corner, observing and slowly testing the waters. But given time, a predictable routine, and a calm environment, Ink will begin to show small, brave moments of progress—like stepping out for a meal while you're nearby, or quietly watching you with curious eyes instead of hiding.
