My story

Meet Louie! This 7 year old guy is as cute as can be and is certainly ready to finally find his forever home! This is especially true considering that this guy has been previously owned by multiple people, all who could not keep him due to life circumstances. Possibly because he`s never had a consistent home where he can feel safe and comfortable, Louie has some behavioral quirks that are important to know about for any potential adopters. Louie can be nervous around unfamiliar people, and has been known to bark or growl, especially toward unfamiliar men. He`s also not a fan of anything that moves toward him too quickly, and that includes joggers, as well anyone who reaches their hands toward him too quickly. It is because of behavioral quirks like these that Louie is considered a special needs adoption. He`s the type of guy who will thrive with someone who is willing to go slow and be gentle when getting to know him. He also needs to go to a home without children; anyone over 18 is fine. All that considering, Louie is a super fun guy, and it`s hard to keep your heart from melting when he snuggles into your lap, or does one of his entertaining tricks! You`ll sometimes see Louie walking on two feet, with his two little front legs bobbing up and down in the air! He brightens everyone`s day here with his upbeat, silly personality, and we`re sure he would do the same for you!
