Remedy

My story

Remedy is easy-going, gracious and precious. She will start out with her new family being timid and frightened in a strange environment inhabited by "giants" (you and your family)! Let Remedy "map it out" as she makes her way around the house to smell, investigate and identify safe places. She will depend on her own safe place to go such as a crate, kennel, carrier or cardboard box. Remedy is okay with being picked up and held closely as she melts into your chest. She has a very soft meow; at times it is a silent meow. Remedy will be your cure for drab days! Her ideal home is with an individual, couple or family with older children. Remedy is accustomed to being around other cats and buddies up to kitty Briley. She has been around cat-friendly dogs. Remedy is a buff tiger tabby with a long coat and orange eyes. As of April 2025, Remedy is 7 months old. Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
