*** Fangs & Lou are at Petsmart Encinitas adoption center. ***Fangs #19626: solid gray, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 3/1/24 Lou #19627: white & gray tabby spotted, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 3/1/23Cats: **BONDED PAIR**Dogs: unknownChildren: unknown BACKGROUND: Fangs and Lou were found by a Good Samaritan in a Target parking lot; they were skinny and in need of some nutritional TLC. She took them home and with a local rescuer tried to find them a home for months with no success; they then reached out to The Rescue House to ask if we could help. PERSONALITY: Fangs and Lou are sweet, curious, playful, and affectionate! They need some time to settle in to new people and places and can startle with unexpected noises, but just pet them and they’ll turn on the purr and soon be your best friend. They play HARD, especially at night when the sounds of a full-scale romp can be heard and the evidence of relocated toys found in the morning. They love tall cat trees, treats, and toys, toys, toys! (And catnip.)---Fangs has a lot of kittenish energy: he plays hard and is always chasing something! Toys of all kinds are a winner with him and he’ll happily include you in his interactive games. Fangs has a funny way of vocally expressing himself with an adorable type of chortle.---Lou is a cat you can look at and see that he’s an “old soul”. While more reserved in nature, he is a highly affectionate kitty who loves getting pets and attention and will express his appreciation with a loud purr.---Fangs and Lou MUST be adopted together.COMPATIBILITY: Lou and Fangs are comfortable with friendly mellow cats after a proper intro. We don’t know their thoughts on dogs or children. We think they would do best in a calmer routine-oriented home, so older respectful kids would be a better fit than younger ones.Fangs and Lou will bring joy to their adopters!
