My story

Hi, I’m Jumanji, and I’m part of the "Board Games Crew" here at the shelter! I came here after my previous owner passed away, leaving me all alone with nowhere to go. When I first arrived, I was really frightened and unsure of everything. It’s been a tough adjustment, but I’m learning that not all humans are so scary. i do belive that i would best be suited as a shop cat, somewhere i can see humans but dont overly need that much contact with them. I might seem a bit intimidating at first with all my hissing, but honestly, I’m all bark and no bite. I may hiss a lot when people approach, but I’ll let you gently touch my head if you take things slow. I’m just a shy guy, and I need some time to feel comfortable and trust you. Patience is key with me, but once I feel safe, I promise I’ll show you my true, sweet side. I’m looking for a calm, understanding home where I can feel safe and loved as I continue to work through my fears. If you’re patient and willing to give me the time I need, I’ll be the loyal companion you’ve been looking for.
