My story

AdoptaGSD.org   Please consider that some of these dogs have been abandoned or ignored by their previous owners, having little interaction with someone who cares about them. When adopted, they will need time to adjust to the changes in their life. Hi, my name is Devlin, and I'm a gorgeous, black, male GSD who was transferred to FRGSR from a shelter where I was surrendered by my former owner. I came from a setting with several other dogs and my former owners didn't socialize me with people, so it takes me some time to warm up. I've been living in a foster home with some other dogs and cats, and I enjoy their company, but I'm still learning to trust my foster parents. I will need an extremely patient adopter who will allow me to warm up on my timeline rather than theirs. I would benefit from having a canine companion as well. I am house-trained but I don't care for being crated.  A home without small children would be best.
