My story

Yegua is the kind of dog who makes you feel at ease the moment you meet her. She’s calm, affectionate, and gentle, with just the right amount of playful energy to keep life fun. This sweet girl is looking for a forever home where she can be loved and included as part of the family. She’s dog-friendly and has lived peacefully with other pups, making her a great companion for a home with another calm or playful dog. Yegua hasn’t had experience with cats or kids, but she does wonderfully with adults and loves meeting new people. Her warm personality and easygoing nature make her a joy to be around. Yegua is fully house-trained and knows how to use a doggy door and stairs. She’s reliable when left alone and doesn’t need to be crated—in fact, she’d prefer not to be. She’s also great on leash and enjoys leisurely walks where she can take in the world at her own pace. She knows commands like “sit” and “stay” and is eager to please, especially if love and praise are involved. Though more laid back by nature, Yegua still enjoys a good play session and has a silly, curious streak that makes her endlessly endearing. She thrives on affection and will happily soak up any attention you give her.
