My story

*** To alleviate the need to bring an animal into the shelter environment, The Anti-Cruelty Society has the Home-to-Home Shelter Bypass service to help people find new accommodations for their pets privately. These animals are not located in any of the Society`s physical locations. If you are interested in adopting this animal, please do NOT click the Adopt Me button and instead reach out to the current owner directly via the email provided in the profile. As this is a Home-to-Home animal you are not required to fill out an Anti-Cruelty Society adoption application form. *** Peach is a well-behaved and extremely sweet dog who loves her walks and neck scratches. She will walk along with you for as long as you`re willing. While at home, she`ll laze around until you give her attention. She is super quiet and has only barked a handful of times in the time that I`ve owned her. She gets along well with other dogs and has stayed with sitters who have both dogs and cats with no problem. She`s generally very curious and loves sniffing everything. She`s had minimal interaction with children outside of her regular walks but has had no problem in those interactions. She is housebroken but isn`t crate-trained. She can be left unattended for hours at a time with no issue though, so crate training shouldn`t be difficult. She has basic training of commands like sit, stay, come, and shake. She absolutely loves treats but isn`t food aggressive. She can sit until given a release command to eat. She doesn`t play much with toys and typically isn`t interested in chewing on things she can`t eat. She generally doesn`t pull on a leash unless she gets excited such as seeing another dog. She hasn`t had any major health problems other than a UTI and stomach virus, which were both solved with antibiotics. I`m moving out-of-state, and I`m hoping to find her a good home.
