My story

Jax is a 4-month-old, 12-pound Rat Terrier mix with the cutest little stubby tail — he was just born that way! His litter was born stray in a trailer park, and he’s the last one still looking for his forever home.Jax is a sweet, gentle soul who’s a little skittish at first, but once he warms up, he’ll be your shadow. He loves being near his people and craves attention, affection, and cuddles. He plays wonderfully with his foster siblings and enjoys soaking up the sun outside. He’s also just starting to discover the fun of toys!Jax is ready to trade in his rough start for a life full of love and belly rubs. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
