My story

📍 Location: Lexington, SC 🐾 Name: Dottie 🎂 Age: ~1 year (Estimated DOB: 4/15/24) 🐱 Breed: Domestic Shorthair (DSH) 🩶 Appearance: Petite 6 lb girl with mostly white fur, sweet grey spots on her head, and a matching grey tail. 🚺 Sex: Female ✂️ Spayed: Yes 💉 Vaccines: Up to date on rabies & FVRCP 🪲 Flea Prevention: Current 💌 Dottie’s Story: Dottie was sadly dumped at another rescue in a carrier. She was having some litterbox trouble while stuck in a cage there, so she was brought to us as a potential TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) candidate. But Dottie had other plans — she absolutely refused to go outside and kept looking for love instead of a street corner. So, we gave her a little TLC: lots of deworming, probiotics, and time. And guess what? Zero litterbox issues since 💪 🐾 Personality: At first, she was shy and hung out in the corner of her room — but within a few days, she warmed up and now greets me at the door looking for affection 💕 She's happy to be held unless she’s feeling hangry (fair enough, right?) 😸 Gets along fine with other animals but prefers her personal space — she’s more of a “coexist peacefully” gal than a cuddle buddy with other pets Has a little sass in her, but she’s overall a very good girl with a chill, independent vibe 📩 Interested?
