My story

Meet Scotty — The Adventure-Sized Explorer! Scotty is a 2-year-old, 9 lb Corgi-Chihuahua mix with a big heart and a nose for adventure. Whether he's strutting through the neighborhood or sniffing out sea breezes on beach days, Scotty lives for the thrill of exploration—with you by his side. Affectionate yet independent, Scotty loves a good cuddle but is just as content holding down the fort solo. He’s a smart cookie who uses the doggy door like a pro and will gladly trade treats for tricks. Barky by nature, he may not be apartment-friendly, but he'd thrive in a home that appreciates his vocal charm. Scotty gets along with other dogs after a proper intro but would prefer to skip the feline friendships. He’s all in for running errands, cozying up after a long walk, and filling your life with tail wags and companionship. Currently fostered in Redwood City, Scotty is waiting for his next big adventure—maybe it’s with you? Scotty is a Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. To recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption.
