My story

Strike Male DOB 12/3/23 Bully / Doodle Mix Neuter appointment 04/30 42 lbs   Strike is an owner surrender at no fault of his own.  His first bat at life, whatever it was, foster guesses didn’t expose him to much but he’s learning. He needs someone who is willing to patiently train him in exchange for cuddles, hugs & kisses, companionship and loyalty.  He’d do best with an experienced dog owner who will be his active partner and limit his time crated or with an older, confident, canine sister who can teach him.     Currently crated overnight and occasionally during the day (1-2 hours).  He loves being with his person(s) ~ watching a movie, going for walks, playing, cuddles at your feet in the office, tummy rubs, fetch in the back yard, etc.  You move-he comes with!  Knock on the door or on TV-he alerts.     Housebreaking is going well.  Foster does not have cats or children but think he’s a little too much for small children right now.     Let’s give Strike an assist and give him a second bat at life!  He just needs a chance. High energy.   Knows sit, no and off.   He’s good in a car.   Learning to walk on a leash ~ and doing well!  Crate training (barks and whimpers but settles quickly).
