My story

Meet Max!Max is a big, goofy sweetheart with the heart of a puppy and the size of a grown dog. As an 8 month old German Shepherd mix puppy and nearly 65 lbs, he's full grown—but still full of playful energy.He loves to run, play fetch, and zoom around the yard, though he settles down quickly after his bursts of fun. A fenced-in yard is a must for Max so he can safely burn off energy. He enjoys long walks, but he does pull on the leash—training classes would help, and he’d love the chance to keep learning. He already sits for treats and is eager to learn more!Max is very affectionate and won't hesitate to climb into your lap for some extra love. He gets along well with other dogs but isn’t a fan of cats. He’d also be excited to meet kids—if you have them, he'd love to say hello!Max would make a wonderful family dog.
