Meet Bruce – A Sweet Soul Looking for Peace Bruce is an 8-year-young pit bull who’s had his world turned upside down. He was adopted from us and deeply loved but sadly returned through no fault of his own. His owner faced severe medical issues and could no longer care for him. Now back at the shelter, Bruce is heartbroken. He’s quiet, shut down, and clearly confused. The stress of shelter life is weighing heavily on him, and it’s hard not to feel his sadness. What Bruce wants more than anything is a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and settled again. He’s incredibly gentle and low-energy—just a sweet old soul who wants to be near someone who cares. Bruce has done best with calm dogs, is fine with cats, and would thrive in a peaceful environment with minimal chaos. Please consider giving Bruce the second chance he so deeply deserves. He’s not asking for much—just a soft bed, a kind heart, and a quiet place to rest his head.
