My story

Meet Jayzee - Found roaming the streets with another pup, sticking close to each other as they navigated the neighborhood together. Concerned for their safety, a kind neighbor brought them to the shelter to prevent them from being harmed. Jayzee is gentle, friendly, and affectionate. He walks beautifully on leash, showing calm curiosity and trust. He is playful and cuddly. He may be a little dusty from his street adventures, but under that dirt is a truly wonderful pup who is ready to love and be loved. Meet Jayzee at ACCT Philly any day of the week from 10 am to 6 pm Per volunteer 4/20: I took Jayzee out for a walk on Sunday, 4/20. Jayzee is such a wonderful, sweet, and happy boy. From the moment I took him out of his kennel, this friendly boy appeared so ecstatic to go out and explore the neighborhood. Jayzee frequently looked up at me as we walked and stayed close to my side. He's a curious boy and enjoyed sniffing around and appeared delighted to see birds and squirrels. Jayzee loved getting pets and scratches all over. He's a good listener and sits nice for treats. Jayzee was friendly and social when interacting with other dogs through the fence. He's a special boy that's a joy to spend time with. I had no issue taking Jayzee out of or returning him to his kennel. 4/19 per volunteer: Jayzee was easy to Leash and get out. He is very handler oriented but sometimes jumps to solicit attention. He was easy to redirect and eagerly leaned in for pets. Seemed to allow all over handling but I gave him some space due to notes about being nervous. He has the most Beautiful black shiny coat and appears to be a very healthy boy! High tail and stiff body when he saw other dogs thru the fence He was very sweet with kid in parking lot and allowed pets and kisses.
