My story

Bear – The Loveable GoofballLooking for a dog who’s equal parts sweet, silly, and snuggly? Meet Bear – a medium-sized bundle of joy with the soul of a comedian and the heart of a best friend. He’s got the playfulness of a puppy, the charm of a seasoned snuggler, and a face full of the cutest wrinkles you’ve ever seen.Bear loves rolling in the grass like he’s auditioning for a nature documentary, and toys? Oh, he adores toys. Squeaky, bouncy, chewable – if it’s a toy, Bear’s in love.When Bear first arrived at the shelter, he was a little down on his luck – his skin condition had him rocking the “bald is beautiful” look. But thanks to medicated baths and lots of TLC, his hair is growing back and he’s getting more handsome by the day. Seriously, he’s like a makeover show in real life.Think Bear might be your new best friend (or your dog’s)? Swing by the shelter with your pup for a meet-and-greet. Bear can’t wait to show off his frisky moves… or at least his signature grass-roll. Bear has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
