Celeste Needs a Foster... or a Loving Home! Celeste is a 2 year old Lab mix that joined our shelter family in January. Upon arrival, it was discovered that Celeste had torn ligaments in both of her back legs, causing her immense pain. The only way to fix this is through surgery, and she`s currently recovering from her first surgery. It went really well and she is almost fully healed! However, Celeste needs a second surgery for a second chance at life. These surgeries cost thousands of dollars, but we can`t put a price on her life. On top of her costly surgery, Celeste is also needing a loving home to recover in. Could that be with you? Celeste needs plenty of rest in a quiet and easygoing environment. Besides tender love and care, she would need short and controlled walks daily to help increase her mobility. Celeste is doing great on her walks with staff, and she has the sweetest personality despite everything she is undergoing medically. She`s a fighter, and she needs you to help continue the fight!
