My story

Have you ever heard of cerebellar hypoplasia, also known as wobbly cat syndrome? Well, now you have. And that’s the congenital condition that sweet Wisp was born with, but hey, we all have our challenges in life, and Wisp meets hers head on! At 4 months of age, 4.9 pound (as of 4/13) Wisp is a happy kitten who loves to play and take lazy naps. She enjoys a variety of toys and figures out her own way of doing things. Wisp loves to cuddle and be pet, and will purr loudly for chin scratches. This easy-going furball gets along extremely well with other cats and dogs. Wisp is able to feed herself and always uses her littler pan, but she sometimes needs a little extra help keeping herself clean. She is bathed regularly and is quite tolerant of it. Due to her condition, Wisp is unable to stand and walk normally, so precautions need to be taken to prevent her from falling or banging into hard surfaces. Wisp may not be like every other cat, but that’s what makes her all the more special. This amazing little creature will make a superb companion and deserves a home as unique and loving as she is.
