Crissy NRAR

My story

Crissy comes to 4Paws from a rescue partner in West Virginia. She unfortunately had been surrendered due to the owner's declining health which necessitated his move to assisted living, and hospital stays, and he made the difficult decision to give her up. A kind neighbor stepped in to get Crissy rehomed through our rescue partner. The neighbor relayed that Crissy will likely be shy initially in a new environment, but once she realizes she is safe, she comes out of her shell. She was sleeping in her human's bed and sitting with him in his recliner chair, appearing to actually be watching TV with him! She craves attention and would love to have a permanent home with a loving family to dote on her. She has not had exposure to children but should be OK with kids who will be gentle with her. We also do not know if she has ever lived with another cat, so if she is adopted into a home with a resident cat, proper introduction procedures need to be followed to facilitate harmony in the transition. Crissy is about 3 years old. She has been spayed, is current on vaccines, and has tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. She will be microchipped before she goes to her adoptive home.
