My story

This sweet soul is as resilient as she is loving. Gardenia came to us with an old scar along her back—an untold story from her past - but she hasn’t let it dim her gentle spirit. She’s a medium-energy girl who knows how to balance playful zoomies in the yard with quiet cuddle time by your side. Gardenia has proven she already has manners! She walks well on a leash, knows how to sit on command, and seems to already be potty trained. While she’s not much for toys (especially squeaky ones—they spook her a bit), she lives for treats and takes them oh-so-gently. This girl has a tender heart. She’ll sometimes lie down to make herself small, but with a little time and kindness, she’ll lean in for pets, offer sweet kisses, and nuzzle into you like she’s been yours forever. Gardenia is looking for a calm, patient home where she can feel secure and adored. Could that be with you?Esta dulce alma es tan resiliente como cariñosa. Gardenia llegó a nosotros con una vieja cicatriz en la espalda —una historia no contada de su pasado—, pero no ha dejado que eso opaque su espíritu tierno. Es una perrita de energía media que sabe cómo equilibrar los juegos en el jardín con los momentos de abrazos tranquilos a tu lado. ¡Gardenia ha demostrado que ya tiene modales! Camina bien con correa, sabe sentarse cuando se le ordena y parece que ya sabe ir al baño. Aunque no le gustan mucho los juguetes (sobre todo los que chirrían, porque la asustan un poco), le encantan las golosinas y las acepta con mucha delicadeza. Esta perrita tiene un corazón tierno. A veces se tumba para hacerse pequeña, pero con un poco de tiempo y cariño, se inclinará para que la acaricien, dará besos dulces y se acurrucará contra ti como si fuera tuya desde siempre.
