My story

Please meet Hazel! Four-month-old Hazel and her sister found themselves in a high kill shelter in Memphis, Tennessee, but they were lucky enough to be spotted by the crew at Mercer Animal Rescue and then placed in two different foster homes. At 23 pounds, Hazel is a medium mixed breed beauty who loves everyone she meets, as well as the four other dogs in her foster family. She is great with kids and has a fun and adventurous personality that is coupled with a sweet and laidback demeanor. She loves to chase the frisbee with her dog friends and then cuddle up and watch a movie with her humans. Hazel is house-trained and crate-trained, and her foster family taught her to sit in just a few minutes. The sky is the limit for this charming, smart, and beautiful gurl, and we can’t wait to see how her story unfolds! Hazel is fostered in Memphis, TN and is available for adoption in the northeast. The dogs leave for their new families every Friday and can be picked up in VA, MD, PA, NJ, NY, CT, RI. Hazel’s adoption fee is $525
