Rescued from a hoarding situation by local authorities and brought to a shelter, we were able to step in and give him a chance to heal and find the loving home he’s always deserved. Timid but Tender Charlie Horse is a shy and quiet soul who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. He may be timid at first, but with patience and kindness, he begins to open up—and once he trusts you, he bonds deeply and becomes a loyal, loving companion. Recovering and Growing Stronger When he came to us, Charlie Horse was suffering from flea dermatitis, but with care and comfort, he’s healing well and starting to feel better every day. He’s also recovered from kennel cough and is gaining strength and confidence. Good with Other Dogs Charlie Horse gets along well with other gentle dogs and would do best in a calm, supportive home where he can feel secure and continue to build his confidence at his own pace.
