My story
Sandy is a beautiful mix of fluff. Part Lab, part Yeti? Who's to say for sure. This gorgeous girl is 80+ pounds of love. As a senior, she has earned a life of leisure. She's looking for a home with plenty of comfy places to nap. Sandy is petrified of fireworks, and storms. She will need anti-anxiety meds. Combining fear with a healthy dose of curiosity which tempts her to explore, we strongly recommend Sandy have a yard with a high fence. Our girl loves her some food and treats, and being tall has absolutely no problems countersurfing, so she'll need a door or an extra tall gate to keep her out of the kitchen. Sandy gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home, but she does get growly when there are too many in close proximity. She came to SAAP with some skin issues, but is all healed and looking for her forever home.April 29, 2025, 8:13 pm
